Charles BAXTER was born in Sheringham around 1854.  He moved his family to Jarrow in Durham where he worked as a dockyard labourer.  

William Lown BANVIL was born in Sheringham about 1836.

Historically, there were two villages, one named as Upper Sheringham, the other Lower Sheringham.  It is now a seaside resort.
